Exploring the Intersections of Inovation
For the 2018 Conference of the National Academy of Inventors, we aim to explore the fundamental intersections of innovation that will advance our world into the future. The NAI annual meeting unites innovators, students and leaders from all disciplines and geographic locations to a venue where knowledge is exchanged and collaborations can thrive through the combined efforts between academia, government and industry.
The Smithsonian American Art Museum has been selected as the setting for the Signature Gala during the 2018 NAI Conference. The building was originally created as the first patent office and held that purpose for more than 100 years. The historic patent office’s enormous galleries once displayed thousands of models of patented inventions from the cotton gin to the first telephone. The site is arguably the capital’s first tourist attraction as visitors roamed the galleries to view the latest technological marvels. Join us in this honorific venue to celebrate our nation’s patent achievements from its earliest beginnings to today. Register Today!
